Unique art works from the Irish coast. Created by nature, foraged by us.

The Drum is named after a small cottage sitting alone on a hill on the wild West Coast of Ireland. One particularly wet summer I discovered an old seaweed identification book and headed to the beach at low tide to forage for the most interesting species - bright pinks, ruby reds and verdant greens. I spent hours experimenting, teasing apart each individual frond, before pressing with newspaper and tissue in old books, stacks upon stacks nestled by the fire. From then on, no matter the weather, I would fill buckets with as much seaweed as I could find.
